Dwayne Polk was born and raised St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Vashon High School and was a four year starter on the varsity basketball team. At Vashon, Polk had the honor of playing for legendary coach Floyd Irons. During his campaign at Vashon, Polk led the Wolverines to three State Championships (2001, 2002, and 2004). The most memorable championship came in 2004. Polk scored 38 points in the championship game which is a Missouri state record. Polk also led his team to the first ever undefeated season in Vashon history. Polk continued his basketball career at Saint Louis University. At SLU, Polk was a four year starter at the point guard position. He played three seasons under Coach Brad Soderberg, and one season under basketball Hall of Famer Coach Rick Majerus. In the winter of 2009, Polk became the Head Girls Basketball Coach at McCluer North High School. In his first season he led the Stars to its first District Championship in a decade. While coaching high school basketball, Polk also plays basketball professionally. He was drafted in the 1st Round of the Premier Basketball League also known as the PBL. He is currently the starting PG for the St. Louis Phoenix. Accolades as a Player:

Danny Brown was born in Houston, Texas and now currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri. Attending Alief Elsik High School (TX), he earned 3 varsity letters. In 2003 Danny was a McDonald's All-America Nominee. That same year, he led powerhouse Alief Elsik to another District Championship. He was also voted District MVP and 2nd Team All-Region. His high school performance earned Danny an opportunity to play at the United States Air Force Academy Prep School, where he led the team to their best record in school history at 31-3. While there, he earned 3 MVP Trophies in Tournaments that season. After many offers, in 2004, Danny signed his letter of intent to play basketball at Saint Louis University for Coach Brad Soderberg and later Legendary Coach Rick Majerus. After 4 years, Danny received his degree in Marketing and Management and was also voted Team Captain by his teammates. After a stellar professional career and spending summers working with numerous NBA players down in Houston, Danny has returned to St. Louis to help those who Dream of being tomorrow's star player!
